Well what stood out with me the first time visiting dr slover he made me feel very comfortable I was in so much pain he did everything he can to make me feel better until I decided to have a knee replacement my first one was so good I felt so good that after two years I did my other knee for some reason my first one healed better nothing to do with Slover I guess its something about that second time around but I'm doing really good I'm having some pain now and I think its because being up and down stairs so much but I will have dr slover do my knees again if I ever have to he's great and so is his team thank you. dr slover for everything.

Dr Slover is the best hip surgeon ever!

Dr James Slover did my total hip replacement. He and his team were EXCELLENT!!! The care and ease of working with them before and after the surgery were great. The surgery and aftercare perfect.

OMG there's so much i want to say about this DR he did my both knees the first one june 20th of 2020 and the second one june of 2022 i'm walking so much better i still have some pain on the left one that i did this year but the other one no pain but wayyyyy better than it was DR Slover and his team was so attentive to me in every way there's never a time that i reach out and didn't get a replied i recommend him all the way....thank u DR SLOVER...

Dr Slover is a fantastic surgeon. He is so caring and understanding to your fears. I was diagnosed with blood clots and assured me that every precaution would be taken. Dr Slover on the day of my right hip surgery on March 11 2021 came and spoke to be with the reassurance of I would be alright. After my surgery that evening he came and spoke to my son to ask if there was anything else he could do. On June 15 2022 I had my left hip surgery. Dr Slover and PA Vanessa Mcdowell are the kindness surgeons. On that day they spoke to me and made sure I was comfortable. On the day of my release Dr Slover made arrangements that I would be picked by ambulance and carried up my flight of stairs. Thank you Dr. Slover PA Vanessa Mcdowell. Dr. Slover performed both hip replacement and revision surgery on me. His work was flawless. I healed without complications, quickly, and with less pain than my prior surgery by another surgeon. He articulated clearly and was available to answer any questions or concerns. I would recommend Dr. Slover to any family member or friend. You'd surely be in the best hands possible! Bravo!

Dr. Slover demonstrates, concern, passion, explain the truth, make sure you have all the needed support for your recovery. Once I met with him my fear for surgery went away. He performed total reconstruction on both my knees.. He's the Best

Dr. Slover saw right away that I was a nervous patient, and he really went out of his way to put me at ease. My knees were a real mess, especially my left knee, but he replaced both of them, and my knees are fine now. He also has an excellent sense of humor

Dr. Slover is an excellent surgeon. My surgery was a complete success and my recovery has been excellent with a lot of hard work on my part as well. The doctor can only do the surgery the patient has to do all the hard work to get a full recovery by following all the pre and post surgery exercises and physical therapy.

I had my right hip replaced on March 4. I had my left hip replaced in Oct. 2019. I am doing very well. Walking without assistance: this time after about two weeks. Dr. Slover is very professional and is open to any questions you may have. His staff is very responsive and knowledgeable. Jane, one of his assistants, is as professional and was very helpful in making things happen. The PAs and Nurse Assistants at his office were always kind and helpful. I had the anterior approach and stayed overnight. The nursing staff at NYU Orthopedic is caring and responsive. I highly recommend Dr. Slover, (Due to pandemic, I had my first two post-op appointments via telehealth. My x rays were done locally)

Dr. Slover is nothing but professional, and a skilled surgeon. I had my left knee replaced in 2015, and my right hip in January 2020. Both replacements are great. I play Pickleball and am able to continue my walking regimen. In addition, he's a personable guy.

I had my right hip replacement in November. Dr Slover and his team are great from the first day. They help me with some forms issues they where very patient. After surgery the force team have good exercise videos for you to help towards your recovery. Also chat text on how everything is going with your recovery. This is good thing because there where days, I didn't fell good. Also Dr. Slover team have a on line nurse to help with any issues love this save a trip to the office. Still recovering and doing better. I would recommend Dr. Slover to anyone having hip surgery.

Dr. Slover is the greatest!!! I cannot believe the relief from pain from arthritis right after surgery, albeit there was surgical pain which was minor in comparison. He and his entire staff are just superstars!!!

Dr. Slover treated me for my second hip replacement. My first was quite a few years ago, and was extremely successful. So Dr. Slover had a high bar to pass. He did so amazingly. I love him! My pre-replacement work-up with Dr. Slover and all his staff was amazingly efficient and speedy. The surgery itself was a breeze, my hospital stay was terrific, and I was home in two days!! Post-operative in-home therapy was great, and the Force app has been a blessing...especially the exercise videos. I am 3-1/2 months out from surgery, and after many years in pain, am starting to feel like my old self. I would recommend hip replacement surgery to anyone, especially if they are apprehensive about the surgery itself. There is no reason to live in pain. And once you come to the decision to have the surgery, Dr. Slover is the best! I just love this guy!

I had total knee replacement surgery with Dr. Slover in May. I was able to go back to work in early July. I can't begin to tell you how impressed I am with how my knee is healing. The incision was perfect. I am in PT now and the pain level is minimal. I would definitely recommend Dr. Slover.
